Master Zhang Zhi-jun is the 11th generation disciple of Chen-style Taiji Quan and named himself as the "Taiji Free Man". He learned Chen-style Taiji Quan from one of the top masters of the Chen's family - Chen Zhao-kui for seven years since 1974. After decades of hard work and research, he has mastered all the theories and techniques systematically. Meanwhile, he has invented many new theories such as "Attacking Hands and Guiding Hands", "Revolution and Rotation", "Golden Section of the Body", "Theory of Taiji Centre of Gravity". These theories make the training of Taiji Quan more scientifically and straight forward, which contribute significantly to the improvement of healthiness and in shortening the learing curve. In In addition, Master Zhang is also considered as one of the ten famous Kung Fu masters in the first series selecting activities of China's Martial Artists. |
